Collective Consciousness Updates

I consider the following two videos must-watches for anyone tracking the current collective shift toward New Earth.

In them, Pam Gregory hosts Kelly Kolodney, who full-body channels Archangel Raphael to speak about the positive timelines unfolding and the acceleration of consciousness we’re witnessing right now.

If you’re seeking collective energetic updates directly from the angelic realm, these are a beautiful place to start.

Books

Some of my favorite books that have shaped my spiritual, erotic, and healing journey—and reinforced both my personal and professional philosophies.

!!!existentialkink.jpg

Existential Kink - Caroline Elliot PhD

One of my all-time favorites. This book explores the idea that the difference between pain and pleasure is a conscious choice—or even a conscious allowing.

From my perspective, it’s a powerful invitation to stop fighting our shadow and actually meet it. The moment we consciously acknowledge the parts of us that secretly want the thing we say we don’t—our relationship to desire and intensity changes.

This book has influenced how I understand kink, shadow, and the way we reclaim power through awareness rather than shame.

Daddy, Lover, God - Don Shewey

I first read this book at the beginner of my intimacy work with clients. It's where I received my first working definition of what a Sacred Intimate is.

This book follows Don Shewey’s personal diary as he steps into the role of a Sacred Intimate working with men—tracking his sessions, the erotic dynamics, the healing that unfolded, and his own internal process as he learned to navigate intimacy as a spiritual path.

I highly recommend this to anyone who is curious about or is starting this type of work.

The Gene Keys - Richard Rudd

I’ve been studying the Gene Keys since 2020. It’s a channeled body of work that explores the evolution of consciousness through humanity via our DNA. It’s one of the few systems I’ve encountered that genuinely bridges biology with spirituality in a way that feels both mystical and surprisingly grounded.

The Gene Keys describe our human potential as a spectrum of frequency—from the shadow expression, into the gift, and ultimately into our highest essence. Each of the 64 keys corresponds with the ancient Chinese I Ching, and each key offers its own transmission, archetype, and pathway of evolution.

Like a spiritual birth chart, we each have a “hologenic profile” that highlights the Gene Keys most influential in our lives. Working with your profile helps illuminate the shadow patterns you’re here to transform, as well as the unique gifts you’re here to embody.

It’s rich, poetic, and full of wisdom that somehow feels ancient and futuristic at the same time—and easily one of the most influential spiritual systems I’ve ever studied.

You can get your free profile here: https://genekeys.com/free-profile/

Then look up your unique Gene Keys in the book. I recommend the hard copy, but the audiobook is included in Spotify Premium

Sacred Kink: The Eightfold Path to BDSM and Beyond - Lee Harrington

This book explores BDSM as a legitimate spiritual and transformative path, tracing how kink practices can be used for healing, altered states of consciousness, shadow work, ritual, devotion, and personal empowerment. Harrington maps the terrain of kink through eight different “paths,” weaving together psychology, spirituality, and erotic practice.

Diamond Light Oracle - Bec Mylonas

My Reiki Master and Spiritual Mentor, Erin Ryan, wrote the foreword to this book. I highly recommend it for those already off the “spiritual deep end”—especially energy workers. It’s incredibly educational around topics like grid work, kundalini, channeling, and transmuting & alchemizing energy.

It’s also deeply validating and written by a woman who’s both relatable and vulnerable in her storytelling. And on top of all that, the book is encoded with energetic activations the reader receives as they move through the material.

Outwitting the Devil - Napoleon Hill

Another all-time favorite. This book is presented as an interview between Napoleon Hill and “the Devil,” exploring the forces that keep us stuck in fear, doubt, distraction, and unconscious living. It’s provocative, playful, and surprisingly relevant to modern spiritual work.

Hill’s concept of drifting—essentially going through life unconsciously or letting outside forces direct our path—has always landed for me in a big way. He points to the subtle ways fear and complacency can quietly steer our choices if we’re not paying attention.

I return to this book often because it challenges me to notice where I’m giving my power away—energetically, mentally, and emotionally—without even realizing it.

erotic mind_edited.jpg

The Erotic Mind - Jack Morin Ph.D.

A gorgeous exploration of desire, eroticism, and the psychology behind what turns us on. Morin breaks down how our erotic wiring is formed, and how shame, fantasy, and early experiences shape our erotic identity later in life.

He explores core erotic themes such as longing, taboo, power dynamics, emotional vulnerability, intensity, secrecy, the thrill of the hidden, and even the erotic charge of fear, guilt, rebellion, and imagination.

Morin shows how these themes weave themselves into our erotic lives in unique ways, and how understanding them can lead to more self-awareness, pleasure, and permission around our turn-on.

The Loving Dominant - John and Libby Warren

For those looking to explore their role as a dominant, this is a classic and surprisingly heartfelt introduction to healthy D/s dynamics. The authors emphasize consent, emotional attunement, communication, and creating scenes that are rooted in connection rather than control.

It’s a great starting point for anyone wanting to develop authentic dominance grounded in empathy, clarity, and respect—rather than stereotypes or porn-based assumptions.

Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving - Pete Walker

Most of us are familiar with “big-T trauma,” like accidents or violence, but Pete Walker breaks down the equally (and often more) damaging effects of ongoing “little-T trauma”—such as emotional neglect, chronic criticism, or growing up without consistent safety.

What’s wild is that the U.S. diagnostic manual (DSM) still doesn’t recognize Complex PTSD, while the European system (ICD-11) does. Walker explains why so many people don’t identify as “traumatized,” even though their nervous system has been impacted for decades.

The book also offers grounded tools for healing—like nervous-system regulation, inner re-parenting, and calming the inner critic—making it incredibly validating and practical for anyone healing from complex trauma.

The Body Keeps the Score - Bessel Van Der Kolk, MD

One of the most widely recognized books in the field of somatic trauma healing. Van der Kolk illustrates how trauma is stored in the body and nervous system, and offers pathways for healing that go far beyond traditional talk therapy.

He explains why trauma can’t be “thought” away, and why modalities like somatic work, EMDR, mindfulness, and body-based practices are often essential for real integration. It’s an important read for anyone wanting to understand trauma not just psychologically, but physiologically.

Atomic Habits - James Clear

Such simple but powerful teachings. This book is all about the tremendous power of small, consistent shifts over time. It’s not spiritual in nature, however I recommend it to all of my Reiki students. Applying these principles to integrating Reiki and other spiritual and energy-work practices into our daily lives is hugely important to actually reap the benefits

Daring Greatly - Brené Brown

I’m a huge fan of all of Brené Brown’s work. She’s a researcher, storyteller, and one of the most trusted voices around vulnerability and courage. What I appreciate most is how grounded and approachable her teachings are—especially for those who are newer to exploring inner work.

This book specifically breaks down shame as a social wound, and why building shame-resilience is essential for vulnerability. And she makes a clear case that vulnerability is not weakness—it’s the foundation of meaningful, healthy, and nourishing relationships.
